Nicole Roark

March 13, 2024 – Moberly School District is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Nicole Roark as the new assistant principal of Moberly Middle School, effective August 1, 2024. With 18 years of experience in education and a passion for student success, Mrs. Roark brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our school community. She will take over for Mrs. Jeana Calloway-Hodson who will move into the superintendent position at Renick R-V School District in July.

Mrs. Nicole Roark joins us with four years of experience as an elementary principal, having previously worked in the Westran R-1 School District. Throughout her career, Mrs. Roark has demonstrated a commitment to expanding a positive learning environment, supporting both students and staff, and implementing a family feel to the school setting.

In her role as assistant principal, Mrs. Roark aims to build upon the school’s academic strengths while adding behavior support in partnership with Mr. Wes Land, building principal. Mrs. Roark is passionate about promoting a supportive school culture, ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

”I am excited to join the Spartan family and serve as the middle school assistant principal next year!  I bring 18 years of public education experience and I am looking forward to working with the Spartan staff,” Mrs. Roark says.

Mrs. Roark holds a master's and specialist degree in educational administration from William Woods and is known for her leadership skills, family involvement in Moberly School District, and dedication to student success. She is eager to begin working with all stakeholders to continue the tradition of excellence at Moberly Middle School.

“Throughout the search process for a new assistant principal at the middle school, the lens of experience in education as well as compatibility were the focus. Mrs. Roark comes to us with great knowledge and multiple years of administrative experience that will contribute to the district’s overall needs. In addition, as a resident of our community, Mrs. Roark is already a Spartan. We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Roark joining our team,” Dr. Oligschlaeger added.

Mrs. Roark lives in Moberly with her husband, Corey, and their three children. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Nicole Roark to Moberly Middle School as we embark on this exciting new chapter together.
