Mrs. Lorrie Egesdal was awarded the September Certified Spartan Staff Star Award at the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, October 8, after being nominated by her colleagues for her outstanding contributions to the Moberly School District.
Mrs. Egesdal's colleagues nominated her for her flexibility, support of staff, and being a great mentor. Staff members said, "Lorrie is always willing to share her knowledge with all teachers. Mrs. Egesdal also encourages staff to do additional professional development along with her, so the team has more information when teaching young readers."
